C-Novels, Definitely must read!

Hello again!  Here are more C-novels that I’ve just finished reading and would totally recommend to anyone who likes bittersweet, but happy endings.  These two stories I’m going to introduce are mostly romance stories set in “Heaven, Hell, Netherworld, and Earth” realms.  Both are also “reincarnation” stories, but you don’t really have to worry about the “annoying” type of reincarnation because it’s done in a very interesting way.  First story I’m going to introduce to you all is “Seven Unfortunate Lifetimes, All Thanks to a Single Moment of Impulse“. Rated this 5/5 stars.  I posted a review on it at novel-updates website of the novel page.  So if you want a more in depth review about it of what you’re getting into, you can go read it there.

Xiao Xiang Zi, a cloud spirit In heaven, and Chu Kong mess up the red strings of fate by accident during their brawl.
As a consequence they are sentenced to be a fated couple in the mortal realm for 7 lifetimes as a punishment for not getting along with each other.
However Xiang Zi sneakily reincarnates without erasing her memory, and unlike Chu Kong, she retains awareness and uses it to her advantage.

The other story that I’ll introduce to you is called, “Sansheng, Wangchuan Wu Shang“.  I’ve also wrote a review on it at novel-updates and rated it 4/5 stars.

Sansheng, Wangchuan Wu Shang (Sansheng, Death Exists Not at the River of Oblivion)
Author: Jiu Lu Fei Xiang / 九鹭非香

This is a story that follows the courtship between a stone from Hell and a god from Heaven that begins in the underworld, spans for three lifetimes in the mortal realm, and ends

A bit of a review on both novels:

Both stories are completely translated in English if anyone is interested in reading it.  Although both stories revolve around reincarnation, both stories have different reasons for the reason why they had to reincarnate.  “Seven Unfortunate Lifetimes, All Thanks to a Single Moment of Impulse”, the main leads are forced to reincarnate because they ruined many fates of mortal red-strings while bickering at each other in Yue Lao Temple, so they are punished to be fated lovers for seven lifetimes.  Because the main female lead didn’t want to follow the fate the Heavenly Emperor has set for her, she decided to change fate a bit into her own hands by using her knowledge of immortal life and past to her on advantage in her first life.  This changes everything because she was fated to “chase the husband” as planned by the Heavenly Emperor, but it became the opposite through the decisions she changed that life time.  What I like about this story was because the emotions were a roller coaster and that the author did a wonderful job portraying the characters emotions and the changes they went through.  Even though the romance didn’t hit right at the start when they both met at first, but through the odds of them spending those 7 life times together they eventually fell in-love and they learned to accept each other’s differences.  “Sansheng, Wangchuan Wu Shang” on the other hand is about the trials of love for both leads.  At first it may seem like the Male lead is only there for the “3 trials” of a god to pass a test, but because  of his encounter with the Stone Spirit(female lead) his trail sort of turns into a test or fated trials of “love trials”.  I thought the female lead was scary and crazy(maybe weird?) at first, but her character grew on me the more I got know more about her.  She’s not completely innocent, but also not completely pure either.  Even though she didn’t have emotions at first, she learns and grows to have these feelings through meeting the male lead for 3 life times.  The male lead indifferent heart also softens after meeting her for these trials of life times.  As readers, we only get to know the male lead better after it’s told in his point of view in a bonus chapter at the end.  I think another similarity between both stories would be both male leads being stubborn to there own feelings.  I’ve honestly didn’t know how both male leads really felt after I’ve read there bonus chapters at the end because through out both stories it was only told though the female’s point of view.  I’m just glad the author added these extra chapters for us to get to know what goes on in the male lead’s heads.

Anyways, have another awesome day/week/month/year! (/^v^)/~♥

Sorry for another long post! (^-^;)
